StudyTimr.com (“StudyTimr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides access to the StudyTimr website, the Study Timer, and related services. These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and StudyTimr regarding your access to and use of StudyTimr.com and any related features, content, plans, or services we make available.

StudyTimr provides an online Study Timer and related study productivity features. Depending on the current product version and plan, services may include study sessions, break timing, timer presets, study history, productivity statistics, study goals, study resources, blog or educational content, and other related productivity features.

Features may change, be improved, added, suspended, or discontinued over time. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or that all features will be available to every user or plan.

4. Using the Study Timer

You may use the Study Timer for legitimate personal, educational, productivity, and other lawful purposes. You are responsible for choosing appropriate session settings, break lengths, goals, and study routines for your own circumstances.

The Study Timer is a productivity tool. Timer results, statistics, streaks, or related information should not be treated as professional advice and do not guarantee better grades, improved memory, academic success, productivity gains, health outcomes, or any specific study result.

5. Accounts

If account functionality is available, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account information reasonably up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account.

You should keep passwords confidential and notify StudyTimr if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to protect the service, protect users, address security concerns, or enforce these Terms.

6. Plans and Subscriptions

Free Plan

The Free plan provides access to the core Study Timer available on the website without requiring payment, subject to the current feature set.

Pro Plan

The Pro plan may provide additional functionality such as custom study and break durations, presets, multiple timer modes, saved sessions, study history, statistics, study goals, and other premium functionality offered by StudyTimr.

Custom Plan

The Custom plan is intended for organizations, educators, study communities, schools, universities, or other users requiring tailored functionality. Custom features and pricing depend on the requirements agreed upon with StudyTimr.

7. Payments and Billing

Where paid services are offered, prices will be presented on the applicable pricing page, checkout experience, or other purchase flow. By purchasing a paid plan or service, you agree to pay the applicable fees and any taxes required by law.

Payment information may be processed through third-party payment providers. Billing terms, cancellation options, renewal details, and any applicable purchase-specific conditions will be presented at purchase or subscription. Pricing may change over time, subject to applicable notice requirements.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not use StudyTimr to violate applicable laws, abuse or interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, circumvent security measures, distribute malware, conduct fraudulent activity, impersonate another person or entity, or infringe intellectual property or other rights.

You must not scrape or automatically extract data in ways that harm the service, overload or disrupt infrastructure, reverse engineer the service where prohibited by law, or use StudyTimr for harmful or abusive activity. StudyTimr may take reasonable action where necessary to protect users, the website, and the service.

9. User Content

If you submit content through StudyTimr, including messages, feedback, support requests, or other information, you remain responsible for that content. You should not submit unlawful content, malicious content, confidential information you do not have permission to disclose, or material that infringes another person’s rights.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StudyTimr and its operators, affiliates, service providers, and personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the service.
